What the test costs, how to book it, what to bring, and how to make sure you only pay the £50 fee once.
The test costs £50 for each attempt. There's no discount for retakes — every attempt is another £50, which is why it pays to be well prepared before you book.
You can retake the test as many times as you need, but you must wait at least seven days between attempts and pay £50 each time. Because of this, most people treat it as a pass-first-time goal rather than relying on retakes.
The single best way to save money is to practise under real conditions until you're consistently passing mock tests. Read the handbook once, then do timed 24-question mocks and drill whichever chapter you keep getting wrong. Only book once you're reliably scoring 20+/24.
Be sure before you book. Our readiness score blends your topic mastery and mock results and turns green when you're ready — so you spend £50 once. 440+ questions, first 30 free, no sign-up.
